How it all began

It all began back in 2011; Rob, Bas and Sabi had an online store selling phone accessories. It was a highly competitive market, so it was essential to reduce costs and optimise every process. Shipping was incredibly costly and time-consuming; manual data input wasted time, and high shipping costs drained profits. Unable to grow their business, they went looking for a solution to optimise their shipping. But nothing existed.

Having a true entrepreneurial mindset, the three of them came together in a bar, had a few beers and said: fuck it, let’s do it ourselves! And that’s how Sendcloud was born.

Almost a decade later, Sendcloud is Europe’s number 1, all-in-one shipping software solution. We continue to online merchants across the continent turn the obstacle of shipping into an accelerator of business growth. 

In 2020, Sendcloud crossed the channel to the UK, taking on the challenge of Europe’s biggest e-commerce market.
